Cosmetic Surgery Phuket - FAQ
1. What services are you offered?
We are most happy to assist your medical trip in Thailand. Generally, we help arranging the appointment at the hospital, booking the hotel, and managing the transfer and ensuring that you receive the upmost service. Also, we are happy to help you with all your special requests, for example, babysitting, arranging the package tour, and assisting your visa application. Just tell us what you want and we try our best to satisfy you.
2. Should I stop medications that I am now taking prior to the surgery?
It is important that you inform us all your medications that you are taking and the purposes of taking them. Some medications like the anticogulation must be stopped at least 2 weeks before surgery.
3. Why do I have to send the medical questionnaire and pictures?
Medical questionnaire and pictures of the relevant areas sending from you will be used to get the initial evaluation from the surgeon. It is our special free from any charge offer and surely all the information will be kept confedential.
4. Do I have to book my appointment in advance? After the consultation, when can I have the surgery?
Yes, it is recommended that you make an appointment at least 2 weeks in advance to book the surgeon's time and ensure that everything at the hospital will be ready for your arrival.
Generally, we do not have waiting list. You will have the consultation in the morning and if everything is fine and you want to go ahead with the surgery, then you can have it done right in the same afternoon. All can be done in one day.
5. Do I have to make the deposit? In which currency the payment should be made?
The deposit for the surgery is not needed. The payment will be done after the consultation at the hospital. And as the hospital quotes in Thai Baht (THB), the payment must be done in Thai Baht as well. You can have money exchanged at the any nearby banks in Phuket.
For the hotel and transportation, the full payment in Thai Baht must be done within the due date mentioned in the invoice.
6. Can I do the follow up check-up with my local doctor in my home country?
Although it is recommended that you have follow up check-up with the same surgeon, if it cannot be done in time, you may have follow up check-up with your local doctor back home. However, it depends on individual health condition which will be determined by the surgeon again.
7. Does your hospital accept the insurance?
It is advisable that you inquire from your local insurance agency before coming as there will be some differences in policies in having treatment abroad.
8. Any preparation before the surgery?
It is important to refrain from smoking, taking any medications or vitamin, and drinking alcohol 2 weeks before surgery. However please let us know if you have any health issues or need to be medicated.
Also, please fast 6-8 hours before surgery.
9. What does the price include? Is there any discount?
Our price is directly quoted from the hospital including of pre-operation exam, doctor fee, operation theater, anesthesia, medication, hospitalization (if any), follow-up check up and interpreter.
As the price is directly quoted from the hospital and the payment will be done there, we are so sorry for not being able to offer any discount.
10. Can I choose my preferred surgeon?
Of course, you are welcome to choose your preferred surgeon. We can assure you that all of our surgeons are highly skillful and experienced. You will be in the best hands here.
